Detailing Brushes
Detailing Brushes: common questions
Which brush should I use on car seats and carpets?
The drill brush set. It attaches to a cordless drill and does the scrubbing for you, which is the difference between a tired arm and a properly clean seat base. Use the smaller heads for corners and seams, the larger one for flat carpet.
Are detailing brushes safe on interior trim?
The interior detail brush is. It uses a high-density soft foam tip made for vents, dashboard trim, buttons, console and door seams.
The tyre brush is not. Its bristles are deliberately stiff, and that is why it stays outside the car.
Can I use a tyre brush on alloy wheels?
No. A tyre brush is stiff enough to cut through old tyre dressing and baked-on road grime, which is exactly what you do not want against an alloy finish.
For wheel faces, spokes and behind badges use the finger mitt instead.
