Who they are
Vireto are a British car care brand, and a new one. The founder is a working detailer rather than a marketer, which shows in what the range does and does not try to be.
How the range was built
The formulations went through roughly eighteen months of development before anything went on sale. Rather than being signed off in a lab and shipped, they were put in front of detailers, valeters and trade users and revised on the back of that: different vehicles, different conditions, different times of year. The aim was products that behave the same way every time you pick them up, in January as well as in June.
What they are trying to do
Their own phrase for it is "engineered surface performance", and the thinking behind it is restraint. No gimmicks, no claims the bottle cannot back up, and concentrates rather than ready-to-use dilutions so you are paying for product instead of water. A range built to cover the job properly rather than to fill a shelf.
What we stock
Three products, all 500ml, and they are designed to work as a sequence rather than in isolation. FORGE handles the wheels first, because wheels carry the most abrasive dirt on the car. DRIFT is the pre-wash foam that lifts the grit off the paint before a mitt ever touches it. SURGE is the pH neutral shampoo for the contact wash, safe over wax, sealant and ceramic coatings.
All three are concentrates, so a 500ml bottle goes a long way.
