Returns & Refunds
- You have 30 days from the date of receiving your order to request a return.
- Items must be in their original condition, unused, and in original packaging.
- To initiate a return, contact us at martin@mcdetailing.uk.
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7 working days.
- Return postage is at your cost unless the return is due to our error. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Exchanges
- You can exchange any unwanted item within 30 days of receiving your order, subject to availability.
- Items must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging.
- Email martin@mcdetailing.uk with your order number and the item you would like instead, and we will arrange the swap.
- Return postage is at your cost. We cover the cost of sending the replacement item out to you.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
- If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us immediately at martin@mcdetailing.uk with photos of the issue.
- We will offer a replacement or a full refund including return shipping costs.

This is a business guide, and a valeting tutorial. It covers how to set the business up, what to charge, how to get customers and how to run a job properly, plus the exact wash workflow used on every job and which chemical to reach for when. It does not cover detailing work: paint correction, machine polishing or ceramic coatings.
Wherever you are, the job is the same. The customer who asks for a discount before you have quoted, the car that is far worse than described, the price that is too low to survive on, the quiet weeks in winter: none of that changes with the country. The pricing method, the wash workflow, the customer scripts and the checklists work anywhere. The money examples are in pounds and the admin chapters use UK rules as the worked example, so if you are elsewhere, put your own country's equivalents in their place and everything around them still applies.

Does it teach me how to clean a car?
Valeting, yes. Detailing, no.
You get my exact workflow in the order I do it on every job, which chemical I reach for and why, wheels, door sills, interiors, and how to work on a hot day without leaving water spots across the paint.
What it does not cover is detailing work: paint correction, machine polishing and ceramic coatings. That is a different skill and not what this book is about.
I'm not in the UK. Is this still worth buying?
Yes, and here is the honest version of why.
Most of this book is not country specific at all. How to price so the work actually pays you, how to spot the customer who will be trouble before you arrive, the full wash workflow, what to say when a car is worse than described, how to get your first customers and your first reviews, what to track every month: none of that changes because of where you live.
What is UK based is the admin: how I registered the business, tax thresholds, the insurance I was quoted, and the rules on where wash water is allowed to go. Those chapters are written as a worked example rather than as law, so you can see what questions to ask and then check your own country's answers. The money is in pounds throughout, so convert as you read.
