Dilute Ratio

Both 500ml and 5L are concentrated and require dilution.

• Light dirt and maintenance: 1:100.
• Medium dirt: 1:50.
• Heavy dirt: 1:10.

Ratios mean one part product to the stated number of parts water.

For each 1 litre of water, add:
• 1:100: 10ml of V-Mol.
• 1:50: 20ml of V-Mol.
• 1:10: 100ml of V-Mol.

How to Use

Exterior · Mildly alkaline · Pre-wash or heavy contact wash

Slightly alkaline and biodegradable, aimed at mineral dirt, mud, clay, soil as well as grease, sap and bird mess. This is the one for a genuinely filthy car, a 4x4 off the fields or a van that lives on a building site.

In a snow foam cannon as a pre-wash

Rinse the worst of the loose mud off first.
Dilute into your snow foam cannon bottle and cover the car.
Leave 3–5 minutes to soften the dirt. Don't let it dry on the paint.
Rinse off, then follow with a pH neutral contact wash such as V-Floc.

As a contact wash

Rinse the loose dirt off, then dilute in the bucket to suit how dirty the car is.
Wash top to bottom with a microfibre wash mitt, rinsing the mitt often. Grit is the enemy here.
Rinse until every trace is gone.
Dry fully with a microfibre drying towel to avoid water marks.

V-MOL is an eco-friendly, slightly alkaline descaler washing soap built for heavy-duty washes. It excels at removing mineral dirt, mud, soil and clay, as well as oils and road grime, without harming paint or trim.

The go-to pre-wash and main wash for off-road vehicles, 4x4s and seriously dirty cars. Also excellent for wheel arches, undercarriages and engine bays. Works in a foam cannon, and dilutes to suit everything from routine maintenance to full-on mud recovery.

Frequently Asked Questions

When do you use V-Mol?

We use V-Mol as the pre-wash on every car, including ceramic coated ones. On a coated car we drop the strength, usually 1:20, unless it is genuinely filthy.

It is alkaline, so it does the heavy lifting before anything touches the paint. The dilution range is wide, which is what makes it cheap per wash.

For the contact wash afterwards we switch to a pH neutral shampoo such as V-Floc.
