Dilute Ratio

Snow foam cannon: 1:20, one part V-Floc to 20 parts water

Bucket wash: roughly 10ml in a 4 litre bucket, which is about 1:400

How to Use

Exterior · pH neutral · Contact wash

Safe on every finish, and safe over Hydrox Fast or any wax, which is why it is the default weekly shampoo rather than Citron or V-Mol.

Do the wheels first with Vexus, so brake dust never reaches clean paint.

Rinse the car to take the loose dirt off.
Dilute V-Floc into the bucket, or into a foam cannon for a pre-wash.
Wash top to bottom with a microfibre wash mitt, rinsing the mitt often. Grit is what scratches paint, not the shampoo.
Rinse thoroughly.
Dry with a microfibre drying towel before the water can mark.

For a genuinely filthy or off-road car, pre-wash with V-Mol first.

V-Floc is a highly concentrated car wash shampoo with serious lubricity and foam. The conditioning surfactants let dirt lift and slide off the paint rather than being dragged across it, which is what causes swirl marks.

This is the everyday wash. 10ml in a 4 litre bucket.

pH: neutral, so it will not strip wax, sealant or ceramic coatings.

Frequently Asked Questions

When do you use V-Floc?

Mostly for the contact wash.

We only use V-Floc as a pre-wash when the car is waxed or ceramic coated and not especially dirty. It is pH neutral, so as a pre-wash it has less cleaning power than V-Mol, which is alkaline.

My car has a sealant on it. Should I use V-Floc as the pre-wash?

You can, but we would not. We would still pre-wash with V-Mol.

A sealant is easy to put back on, unlike a wax or a ceramic coating, so there is little reason to go gentle on the pre-wash and leave dirt on the paint. Hydrox Fast or Hydrox Wash both top the protection back up as part of a normal wash.
