At MC Detailing, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied, please read our refund and exchange policy below.
Returns & Refunds
- You have 14 days from the date of receiving your order to request a return.
- Items must be in their original condition, unused, and in original packaging.
- To initiate a return, contact us at martin@mcdetailing.uk.
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7 working days.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
Exchanges
- Exchanges must be requested within 14 days of receiving your order, subject to availability.
- Please place a new order for the item you want and return the original item.
- No additional shipping costs will be covered for exchanges.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
- If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us immediately at martin@mcdetailing.uk with photos of the issue.
- We will offer a replacement or a full refund including return shipping costs.

Car Microfibre Drying Towel, 1200GSM, 90×60cm
Dry a whole car with one towel, without swirls or streaks. At 1200GSM this is a properly heavy, plush twist-pile towel, most budget drying towels are 300–600GSM and need constant wringing.
Why GSM matters
GSM (grams per square metre) is the density of the microfibre. Higher GSM means more water absorbed per pass and a softer touch on your paint, so you drag less and scratch less.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many cars will one towel dry?
It is a 1200 GSM towel, so it holds a lot of water, enough for two to three cars in one go.
That said, we recommend drying one car per towel, then hanging it up to dry properly before the next use. In our experience that is what makes them last.
How do I wash it?
- Wash at 40°C or below, high heat damages the fibres
- No fabric softener, it clogs the microfibre and kills the absorbency, which is the whole point of the towel
- Hang it to dry, or tumble on low heat only
- Wash it separately from cotton items, which shed lint into the fibres
How long does delivery take?
- Standard, £3.99, 3–5 working days (free on orders over £50)
- Express, £5.99, 1–3 working days
What's your returns policy?
You have 14 days from receiving your order to return it. Items need to be unused and in their original packaging.

Do you ship outside the UK?
We currently only ship within the UK. If you are overseas and want one of our products, get in touch and we will see what we can do.
